During CM418 at Colemore in May 2018 we discovered an interesting feature not far below the surface of the field in our Trench W.  It became apparent that it was a Romano-British floor surface, comprising large (cracked) floor tiles as well as pieces of hypocaust tile.  Given the small area exposed, we cannot yet be certain but it was possibly at the corner of two walls.  We hope to explore this further.  This is a 3D reconstruction of the area exposed, made using 3DF Zephyr software:
