Trench 'S'

The new Trench S (shown shaded in red) was chosen because it overlies some interesting areas on the geophysics resistivity scan (shown as grey blobs) and is also expected to intersect the boundary ditch found before, (shown as a magenta line). It is 5 metres wide, 20 metres long and aligned north-south. Previous trenches are shown as yellow shapes and test pits as white squares.
